Position Overview

The Mobile Game Technology GRC Product Manager will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, including product strategy, competitive analysis, requirement gathering, feature design, spec writing, and partner team and customer alignment. Our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team is focused on building technology solutions so all Zynga games can reduce the risk of non-compliance. As a team we balance details of how to meet worldwide compliance regulations, as well as serving our players, with the complexity of varying game technologies and designs. This role will have a wide impact across the whole company, helping reduce legal and regulatory costs as well as collaborating with a wide range of customers. What You'll Do

  • Create feature specs, working with design, engineering, game teams, and other partners to align on solutions that allow us to minimize both compliance risk and business impact.
  • Collaborate with many different teams across the company, weighing varying opinions against cost and business value.
  • Evangelize our offerings and strive to continuously improve onboarding and customer experience, working with Product and Engineering leaders to build feedback loops.
  • Identify & deconstruct competitor responses to similar problems and use that knowledge as one of many inputs to decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the team and org to improve processes and champion a positive team culture.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of strong product management experience in game or mobile app development.
  • Sound product judgment, ability to formulate product solutions and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead a feature from ideation to launch.
  • Ability to build wireframes and write product specifications; experience problem solving UX flows and designing for multiple scenarios.
  • An MVP mentality with the ability to balance player, game, and business interests while considering technical costs and tradeoffs. Experience prioritizing multiple objectives and collaborating with diverse partners.
  • Bonus Points

  • Some experience with data analytics and SQL
  • Exposure to a range of game genres and player experience considerations.
  • Familiarity with Data Privacy / Compliance / Regulatory Measures a plus.
