What is the opportunity?

RBC Digital is a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization where tackling ambiguity in a collaborative way is essential to personal, team, and customer success. In this Product Manager role, you will lead a squad to execute parts of the Online Banking vision and strategy. You will help define the product’s roadmap and deliver clear OKRs to Designers and Engineers and be the Product Manager in Agile framework. You will also have to navigate the organization and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and Lines-of-business partners, guiding them to the best digital experience.

What will you do?

  • Closely collaborate with different product lines, business partners, senior leaders, and external providers to develop solutions that deliver value to our clients

  • Represent the customer when defining the product vision and strategies

  • Build high-quality, functional prototypes that convey, prove, and advance the vision of future RBC products and applications

  • Work closely with customer experience, design, development teams and external partners to deliver on your product vision and strategy

  • Oversee product delivery phases in close collaboration with senior management, the delivery team and project manager

  • Establish product performance goals and ensure consistent product progress

  • In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business and 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager

  • Experience working with technical teams (Developers/Quality Engineers/Business Analysts)

  • Strong data and analytics background

  • Strong knowledge of methodologies and best practices (Agile, Scrum, etc.)

  • Passionate focus on the customer and unwavering commitment to quality

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in the banking industry

  • Experience using Jira
