Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Product Manager for Developer Experience to champion the developers building on Ping's IAM platform. You will simplify identity standards into fast, secure, and intuitive SDKs, APIs, and tooling across web and mobile, accelerating Time to First Integration.

You will work with engineering, documentation, and DX teams to publish docs, sample apps, and guides; gather insights from customers and open-source communities; write technical content; and manage the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Identity domain expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO/WebAuthn.
• Strong developer empathy and ability to translate API design into requirements.
• AI-native development experience with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for engineering and stakeholders.
• Experience defining and executing a product roadmap in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive Developer Adoption: Own the product strategy and roadmap for Ping's Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and Hybrid frameworks.
• Champion Developer Experience (DX): Deliver world-class documentation, quick-start guides, and sample apps.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Align SDK with platform releases and collaborate with Engineering and PM teams.
• Gather Developer Insights: Engage with customers, partner engineers, and open-source community to shape backlog.
• Evangelize the Product: Write technical posts, participate in forums, and showcase SDK capabilities.
• Execute the Vision: Manage lifecycle from concept to release with clear metrics and backlog.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor app development trends and identity standards for SDK relevance.
• Incorporate AI-Focused Mindset: Explore AI trends and agent-focused patterns for integration workflows.
