Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across Underwriting, Broking, Claims, Pricing, Experience, Marketing and IT to develop competitive, profitable, and sustainable solutions.
• Define and shape commercial insurance products, including coverages, policy wordings, documentation, workflows, and distribution considerations.
• Research competitor offerings, market trends, and opportunities to inform product strategy and future program development.
• Monitor product performance and support launches and enhancements through analysis, testing, training, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with technical and systems teams on product implementation with business context.

Westland Insurance Group is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager, Commercial Programs to join our Underwriting team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of commercial insurance who enjoys bringing together business needs, insurance expertise, market insights, and stakeholder perspectives to help shape differentiated insurance programs and products.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Surrey, BC head office; however, we are open to considering candidates based outside of our current office locations.

Expected Compensation:

The expected hiring range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
