Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager / Business Systems Analyst (Derivatives) to serve as a critical bridge between trading operations, risk management, and technology. In this role, you will analyze, enhance, and support complex systems that facilitate derivatives trading.

You'll be instrumental in aligning business needs with technical execution while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence across derivatives platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of derivatives trading, including options, futures, and swaps.
• Strong understanding of the trade life cycle, from trade capture and confirmation to settlement and reconciliation.
• Proficient in FpML and XML messaging standards and integration use cases.
• In-depth familiarity with multiple derivatives asset classes, including Equities, Rates, Commodities, and Credit.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or enhancing derivatives trading systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with trading, risk, compliance, and technology teams to gather and document business requirements related to derivatives trading.
• Manage product / system backlogs and lead end-to-end implementations and enhancements in trading platforms.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to deliver and test system changes, upgrades, and new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within derivatives trading systems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain documentation related to system processes, data flows, and integration points.
• Monitor performance and suggest improvements for scalability, automation, and compliance efficiency.
