Product Manager, Airport Experiences (Cardholder Services) Overview

Cardholder Services is a critical organization within the Consumer Products & Processing business, delivering best-in-class benefits. With a dual mandate to enhance the core value proposition and drive services revenue, Cardholder Services is a dynamic and high-impact program. The team combines deep product expertise and partner management excellence to deliver industry-leading customer experiences.

In this role, you will help develop, optimize, and deliver Mastercard Collection airport benefits, including the Mastercard Collection fast track lanes and Taste of Priceless dining locations. You will manage key partner relationships and ensure seamless execution across product, services, and operational teams. You will also play a critical role in ensuring market competitiveness, pricing consistency, and differentiation for Mastercard in the travel vertical. This role supports asset development in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC/NAM), vendor management, issuer communication, regional team coordination, and launch timelines. The ideal candidate excels in communication, works independently, and can align global teams. Data-driven insights are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  1. Card Benefits Strategy & Development: Align with relevant product teams and deliver benefits that enhance customer value and support global airport strategies.
  2. Revenue Growth: Identify and execute opportunities to expand monetization of airport benefits.
  3. Partner Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for strategic partners, negotiate agreements, conduct quarterly business reviews, and monitor performance against SLAs.
  4. Alignment: Ensure benefit initiatives are coordinated across card product teams, integrated into platform roadmaps, and properly supported by operational enablers.
  5. Go To Market: Equip commercialization, B2B marketing, and other teams with tools, training, and insights to effectively sell and promote awareness of benefits.
  6. Performance and Reporting: Track product KPIs, partner performance, and ROI to inform strategic decisions and foster continuous improvement.
  7. Global Execution: Support asset development, vendor management, and communication with issuers across the Americas. Coordinate with regional teams and manage project timelines from start to finish.

Experience

  • Deep understanding of the airport and travel landscape, including industry dynamics, operational requirements, and effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to build business cases, manage budgets, understand cost drivers, and own P&L.
  • Experience with airport lounge operations and external vendor management is preferred.
  • Experience in product management, partnerships, or related roles in payments, financial services, or travel loyalty programs.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value partner relationships and delivering measurable business results.
