The KONEK team aims to enable Canadians to pay anyone, anywhere—In-store, Online, or In-Person. Our KONEK wallet simplifies these capabilities into one user-friendly product.

As part of the Wallet Product team, you will manage the web segment of the KONEK checkout experience, focusing on E-Commerce Checkout. You will collaborate with issuers, merchants, and partners to roll out, optimize, and deliver ongoing enhancements to the Web checkout feature.

You will also work with platform and mobile teams to enable features like Buy Now Pay Later and Pay with Points within the E-Commerce Checkout.

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to own and shape the Web aspect of the KONEK Wallet. You will define and execute a vision for the Web experience, focusing on customer experience and stakeholder needs, including issuers, acquirers, and merchants.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in checkout and payments, preferably with issuer-backed wallets and Zero-Liability mechanics. Deep knowledge of acquirer and merchant integrations, authentication technologies like OIDC and Passkeys, and Web-to-App patterns will set you apart. Technical aptitude and a customer-centric approach are essential.

Responsibilities include:

1. Owning the roadmap and delivery of specific features or product areas.
2. Collaborating with engineering and design teams to define and deliver solutions.
3. Writing product requirements and user stories.
4. Synthesizing customer feedback, market insights, and internal input.
5. Partnering with marketing, support, analytics, and operations teams.
6. Defining success metrics and monitoring post-launch performance.
7. Driving continuous improvement through iteration and experimentation.
8. Contributing to product vision and strategy.
9. Developing strategy and vision for the Web portion of KONEK Wallet.
10. Creating a roadmap to realize this vision.
11. Communicating strategic value, ROI, and dependencies to stakeholders.
12. Partnering with other product managers to deliver the roadmap.
13. Delivering a user-friendly, secure E-Commerce checkout and authentication experience in a Zero-Liability environment.
14. Understanding and communicating user needs while balancing stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years in product management or related fields.
2. Strong communication and organizational skills.
3. Experience with agile development.
4. Ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
5. Data-driven with experience using SQL, Amplitude, Looker, or Mixpanel.
6. Bachelor’s degree (preferably in technical or business fields).
7. Eligibility to work in Canada for Interac.
8. Practical knowledge of Payments, liability structures, and authentication/authorization impacts.
9. Experience managing and delivering on a platform requiring cooperation and competition.
10. Track record of delivering excellent user experiences with design and engineering teams.
11. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
12. Skill in designing solutions that balance multiple needs.
