The KONEK team aims to enable Canadians to pay anyone, anywhere—In-store, Online, or In-Person—with a unified, easy-to-use wallet. As a Product Manager on the Wallet Product team, you will oversee the web component of the KONEK checkout experience, focusing on E-Commerce Checkout, collaborating with partners, and optimizing the product.

You will also work with platform and mobile teams to add features like Buy Now Pay Later and Pay with Points, ensuring a seamless checkout experience in a Zero-Liability environment. Your role involves defining and executing the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in checkout and payment systems, especially in issuer-backed wallets, with knowledge of acquirer and merchant integrations, authentication technologies, and Web to App patterns. A mix of technical skills and customer focus is essential.

You’ll be responsible for:
  1. Owning the roadmap and delivery of features.
  2. Collaborating with engineering and design teams.
  3. Writing product requirements and user stories.
  4. Synthesizing customer feedback and market insights.
  5. Partnering with marketing, support, analytics, and operations.
  6. Monitoring product performance and success metrics.
  7. Driving continuous improvement.
  8. Contributing to product vision and strategy.
  9. Developing the Web experience strategy and roadmap.
  10. Communicating value, ROI, and dependencies.
  11. Aligning with other Product Managers.
  12. Delivering a consumer-friendly checkout and authentication experience.
  13. Understanding and balancing stakeholder needs.
You bring:
  1. 5+ years in product management or related fields.
  2. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  3. Familiarity with agile development.
  4. Experience translating customer needs into solutions.
  5. Data analysis skills with tools like SQL, Amplitude, Looker, or Mixpanel.
  6. Bachelor’s degree (technical or business preferred).
  7. Eligibility to work in Canada for Interac.
  8. Understanding of Payments, liability, authentication, and authorization.
  9. Experience with network/platform operations involving cooperation and competition.
  10. Track record of delivering great user experiences with design and engineering teams.
  11. Ability to communicate and deliver value across diverse stakeholders.
  12. Skill in designing solutions that balance multiple needs.
