Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
BDC is building an AI-native incubator to reimagine how banking serves Canadian entrepreneurs. We seek a Product Manager who will own the incubator’s outcomes end to end, operating one to two cycles ahead and driving value with rigorous business cases and ROI analysis.
You’ll work without traditional POs in an agile environment, partnering with UX researchers and stakeholders to shape the vision, roadmap, and priorities and deliver tangible business impact.
We are banking at another level.
Choosing BDC as your employer means working in a healthy, inclusive, and skilled workplace that puts forward the best conditions to bring together unique teams where employees are empowered to act. It also means being at the centre of ambitious economic and financial projects to see further and to do things differently, to fuel the success of Canadian entrepreneurs.
Flexible and competitive benefits, including an Employee Savings and Investment Plan where BDC matches part of your voluntary contributions, a Defined Benefit Pension Plan, a $750 wellness and health care spending account, to name a few

We sit at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. We work with startup speed, challenge existing assumptions, and focus on delivering practical outcomes that will meaningfully change how BDC serves entrepreneurs.
You will be joining a team with strong executive sponsorship and a mandate to experiment, learn quickly, and turn promising ideas into real solutions. Our success will not be measured by how many ideas we generate; it will be measured by the value we create for employees, clients, and Canadian businesses.
We're looking for a Product Manager who owns the impact of the incubator. This isn't a role that sits above the work and thinks big thoughts about the mid-to-long-term. You'll operate one to two cycles ahead of the team. We need someone who can see far enough to steer, but who is fundamentally an operator: the kind of person who gets things done, not just plans them.
You're accountable for what the incubator ships and the value it creates. On a traditional team you'd lean on Product Owners — here, you won't have any. The team is autonomous and holds the PO work itself, but the buck stops with you. You own the outcome end to end.
You're also the voice of the business. Our UX researcher owns the voice of the user, which frees you to own the numbers: you build and maintain our business case, our impact model, the costs, and the ROI. You're the one who can defend what we're doing with evidence, not enthusiasm.
Proudly one of Canada's Top 100 Employers and one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive and accessible environment where all employees can thrive and feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
