Job description

Are you passionate about digital transformation and looking to contribute to the purpose of an organization committed to ensuring its clients feel confident and secure about their future? As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in defining and evolving the digital offerings that support collaboration, communication, document management and individual productivity every day.

Reporting directly to the Director, Digital Services, you will define, maintain and communicate the vision, strategy and roadmaps for the M365 offerings and end-user software under your responsibility. You will ensure their relevance and adoption, as well as the value they deliver and their performance, including financial performance.

This position is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and fully realize your potential within a caring and trustworthy organization. Here, people and their development are at the heart of our priorities, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Product Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Define the vision and strategy for the offerings in collaboration with business partners, IT teams, and business and enterprise architects. You will establish and maintain roadmaps for the development, maintenance, enhancement and end-of-life of the offerings to maximize value, benefits and reuse while optimizing costs.
  • Translate needs into prioritized product initiatives and prepare the business cases, value analyses and recommendations required to evolve the services. You will facilitate priority trade-offs and contribute to investment and budget planning.
  • Guide the evolution of M365 offerings, artificial intelligence and end-user software through ongoing monitoring of trends, usage, expected value and risks. Your scope will include SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, Loop, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI agents.
  • Measure and maximize product performance and adoption by establishing performance, usage, adoption, value, quality and security indicators. You will report results to the Director, Digital Services and senior management, and make recommendations to adjust priorities as needed.
  • Mobilize multidisciplinary teams around the product vision and work closely with the Associate Director, M365 and End-User Software, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, architects, designers and operations teams. You will participate in quarterly planning ceremonies such as PI Planning/BRP and support teams in their preparation.
  • Support the definition and delivery of solutions by translating collaboration, artificial intelligence and productivity needs into actionable initiatives and acceptance criteria. You will work with experts responsible for governance, security, compliance, retention, B2B collaboration, integration and architecture.
  • Foster product adoption and continuous improvement by leveraging change management, communication and training teams, gathering user feedback and incorporating lessons learned into product roadmaps.
  • Ensure consistency across digital offerings by collaborating with other Product Managers and coordinating interfaces with Endpoint, Telephony and Messaging offerings, particularly for Teams use cases.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their product leadership and ability to influence managers and multidisciplinary teams made up of internal and external resources, and who can mobilize others without direct authority.
  • Stands out for their ability to navigate the multiple dimensions of complex initiatives and translate business and user needs into clear, prioritized product initiatives.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, as well as a proven ability to align stakeholders around important decisions.
  • Has strong knowledge of strategic IT technologies and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot and Power Platform, including Copilot Studio, as well as an understanding of governance, security, compliance and risk considerations.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field of study at the same level.
  • Has 10 years of experience in information technology, including a minimum of four years in product management within large-scale environments involving product vision, roadmaps, value creation and portfolio prioritization.
  • Has experience working in Agile and LEAN environments.
  • Could further stand out through experience in digital transformation and large-scale projects, as well as knowledge of the financial services and insurance industry.
  • Demonstrates an advanced level of proficiency in French and English, as the incumbent will collaborate daily, both verbally and in writing, with unilingual English-speaking partners, teams and stakeholders located across Canada and abroad.
