At Miraterra, we’re on a mission to create a healthier, more efficient, and sustainable future. Our breakthrough digital measurement technology is transforming how we understand the world around us—unlocking critical insights across soil, plants, feed, food, and more. With nearly 70% of farmland topsoil already degraded, we are pioneering a new standard for soil intelligence. Combining AI, spectroscopy, and genomics, we deliver actionable insights in minutes, at scale, giving the land a voice. Join us in driving productivity, food security and climate resilience.

Your role at Miraterra

As our Product Management Co-op Student, you will support the Product Management team by conducting research, synthesizing insights and preparing materials that inform strategy and customer engagement. By handling preparatory research and analysis, you will enable the Product Management team to focus on messaging, collateral development, and strategic communication.

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will collaborate closely with the business development and commercial teams.

In this role, you will
  • Conduct in-depth market research to build baseline profiles of customers and opportunities.
  • Analyze customer segments, business lines, market trends, and product landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare summaries and briefs for key stakeholders, highlighting problem statements and opportunities.
  • Suggest communication approaches, lines of opportunity, and areas for testing based on research findings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini) to streamline research, generate insights and increase efficiency
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to efficiently manage your own time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. G Suite, Slack)
We value, but don’t require
  • Experience in visual design, slide deck presentation or creating polished presentation materials
  • Familiarity with basic project management frameworks (e.g. timelines, Gantt charts)
  • Understanding of user research or customer discovery methods
  • Experience with project management or roadmapping tools (e.g JIRA)
  • Interest in or knowledge of soil health, food supply chains, climate, action and policy
Location
  • Canada (remote friendly)
