Job description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Lead to oversee our flagship operational platform and drive strategic initiatives aligned with our long-term business goals.

As a Product Lead, you will play a critical role in executing our product vision, focusing on delivering value through the optimization of a high-performing operational system.

Your main responsibilities include managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, defining acceptance criteria, and representing the voice of the customer and operational stakeholders to the development team.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and Scrum Masters to ensure successful delivery of sprint-level and strategic objectives.

Previous experience with operational platforms, process automation, and data-driven decision-making is highly beneficial. Familiarity with the airline, hotel, or travel industry is a plus. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Essential Functions
  1. Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance platform capabilities. Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements. Drive long-term planning and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Establish KPIs to measure success.
  2. Product Backlog Management: Manage the backlog to reflect the product vision and maximize value. Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria, focusing on operational use cases. Prioritize features considering operational needs like performance and reliability. Ensure backlog readiness before development.
  3. Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of end users, translating operational feedback into actionable stories and system improvements. Maintain a customer-focused approach aligned with business and operational excellence.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Scrum Masters, developers, and operational teams to ensure smooth sprint execution. Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide guidance on priorities and requirements.
  5. Execution & Delivery: Focus on short-term goals and high-impact deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and meet quality and performance standards.
  6. Scope & Decision-Making: Make daily decisions on scope and priorities within sprints. Balance competing demands to optimize value and mitigate risks related to performance, reliability, and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience managing operational platforms supporting critical processes.
  • At least 3 years as a Product Lead or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, with a focus on operational solutions.
  • Familiarity with the airline, hotel, or travel industry is a plus.
