Product Lead, Health Data Products, Brampton, ON

The Health Data Products team at Loblaw is hiring a Product Lead, Health Data Products. This role will be responsible for delivering omni-channel healthcare solutions that create a world-class experience across the Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart enterprise. The role will work with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to build out, analyze and execute innovative data products that help connect patients with services, improve pharmacy workflows and expand our data ecosystem. This role will work closely with our pharmacy, digital health, and technology leads as well as Loblaw Digital, operations, professional affairs, privacy, legal and other cross-enterprise teams, to align, plan, and deliver on strategic priorities.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the translation of various stakeholder requests and questions into analytical problems. Requests can be strategic or tactical in nature, including but not limited to patient outcomes, targeting, segmentations, development of dashboards, reports, targeting effectiveness, and post-campaign measurement.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Work proactively to develop customer insights, presentations using data to grow or improve the program, and develop a strong relationship with business partners to help in their day-to-day decision making.
  • Effectively communicate across different forums and audiences verbally and in writing (e.g. formal presentations, one-on-one meetings, in front of large audiences, with business leaders).
  • Proactively engage in opportunities to improve the health and engagement of our healthcare programs, through innovative ideas and process improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Proven experience in an analytical role. Experience ideally in Retail, Loyalty, CPG industry, Consumer Finance, Telecommunications, or Consulting.
  • Experience with various programming languages / platforms (Python, SQL, R, GCP) is an asset. Excellent skills with Excel and PowerPoint. Candidates with a strong technical background are preferred.
  • Innovative self-starter and patient-centric thinking, with strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills and ability to take requests vague in nature, and distill them into practical insights.
  • Strong storytelling and ability to take complex solutions and simplify them into effective stories through presentation decks.
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and move in a fast-paced dynamic environment, while maintaining ability to influence across all levels of the team and in the organization.
  • Comfortable moving from ‘Big Picture’ strategy thinking to detailed execution seamlessly with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as healthcare or banking.
