Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Engineer with 4-8 years of experience in OT (Operational Technology) and IT
2. Experience with SCADA/PLC based control systems
3. PLC/SCADA troubleshooting and debugging experience
4. Troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, and HMI systems
5. Interfacing with real-time database applications to manage critical production information
6. Prior experience in Operation & Maintenance support of various interdependent systems specifically interaction between IT and OT technologies
7. Analyse and correlate Business Process Vs IT processes Vs Technologies
8. Apply ITIL concepts while handling incidents, problems, changes, and requests
9. Assist in resolving and performing preventive analyses on day-to-day issues and suggest improvements related to business user queries
10. Coordinate with various teams, analyse root causes, and assist in efficient resolution of all production issues/processes
11. Monitor, highlight, and escalate issues for production systems
12. Develop, document, and train others on OT/IT systems and best practice procedures
13. Vendor management and coordination to ensure SLA adherence for production systems
14. Analyse business processes and ensure compliance with all controlled processes according to business requirements
15. Coordinate with different internal and external stakeholders along with third-party vendors and ensure effective and seamless communication
16. Should be flexible and enthusiastic to learn new systems

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of PLCs (e.g., ControlLogix, Modicon, Siemens S7) is an asset
2. Knowledge and experience with Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Wonderware Intouch or other HMI platforms is an asset
3. Ability to read electrical schematics is an asset
4. Good to have prior experience in the Airport or transport industry
5. Familiarity with IT/Networking and database applications is an asset
6. Good to have knowledge and experience with Programming (C, C#, VBA, SQL or other languages)
7. Knowledge of ITIL V4 (Certification Preferred)
