Location

Responsibilities

1. Develop Rijk Zwaan seed business in Southwestern Ontario.
2. Organize and follow variety trials in consultation with staff, distributors, growers, and cooperating companies, focusing on vegetables.
3. Manage product introductions and commercial sales activities for the greenhouse product line in Southwestern Ontario.

Qualifications

• BSc or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in agriculture, seed business, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of regional vegetable crop production practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop industry relationships, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
• Experience working with trial data and summarizing findings.

Additional Details

Position based in Leamington, Ontario, with occasional travel to Western Canada, USA, and Europe.
