Job description

At CoVet, we're building AI-powered tools that help veterinary professionals spend less time on paperwork and more time caring for animals.

Veterinary teams are stretched thin. Long hours, administrative burden, and burnout are challenges across the industry. We're on a mission to change that. Our AI copilot helps veterinary professionals save time, improve workflows, and focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional patient care.

We're a globally distributed team united by a shared mission to support veterinary professionals through thoughtful technology. We move quickly, collaborate openly, and believe great ideas can come from anyone.

If you're excited by the opportunity to shape the future of veterinary medicine while working alongside an ambitious and supportive team, we'd love to meet you.

About the role

We're looking for a Product Designer, Design Systems & Delivery who's passionate about creating seamless, consistent, and intuitive product experiences.

In this role, you'll bridge the gap between design and development, working closely with Product and Engineering to ensure great ideas translate into polished, user-friendly features. From maintaining design consistency to improving the little details that make a big difference, you'll play a key role in shaping the CoVet experience.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a fast-growing company, helping veterinary professionals reclaim valuable time in their day.

Exciting Opportunities in this Role
  • Champion Design Quality: Review UI/UX implementations, identify inconsistencies, and document actionable improvements.
  • Drive Design Consistency: Maintain and evolve our design system, promoting reusable components and cohesive experiences across features.
  • Improve the User Experience: Own small-scale UI enhancements inspired by customer feedback, support tickets, and usability insights.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product and Engineering to solve design challenges, prioritize requests, and keep releases moving.
  • Turn Feedback Into Action: Translate user insights and post-launch feedback into meaningful product improvements.
  • Support Product Delivery: Make thoughtful design decisions quickly while maintaining quality in a fast-paced development environment.
Qualifications

We're more interested in finding the right person than checking every box.

  • 3+ years of experience in digital product design, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong Figma skills, including components, variants, tokens, and design systems.
  • Experience reviewing UI implementations and creating clear, actionable design tickets or bug reports.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills, with attention to responsive behaviour, accessibility, and edge cases.
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering through short release cycles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make independent decisions, and communicate clearly.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Linear, Amplitude, or similar tools.
  • Experience with QA processes and product testing.
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline design workflows.
About You

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have an eye for detail: You spot the little inconsistencies others might miss and love making things better.
  • Take ownership: You're proactive, resourceful, and follow through from identifying a problem to delivering a solution.
  • Move fast and adapt: You're comfortable with shifting priorities, quick decisions, and short release cycles.
  • Love consistency: You believe great design is intuitive, scalable, and built on thoughtful patterns.
  • Are a team player: You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and enjoy solving problems together.
  • Put users first: You're motivated by creating experiences that make people's lives easier, one improvement at a time.
Why Join Us
  • Flexible remote-first work environment
  • Competitive compensation
  • Generous vacation and time-off policies
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth
  • A culture built on trust, collaboration, and impact
