Job summary

Clio is a global leader in legal AI technology and seeks a Product Designer to shape the Document Management System (DMS). This in-office role is based in Canada, with a requirement to work at least twice per week from our anchor hubs in Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto.

Qualifications

• Strong visual and interaction design craft with attention to polish.
• 4+ years of Product Design experience for digital products (B2B SaaS preferred).
• Hands-on, scrappy, adaptable, able to wear multiple hats.
• Experience supporting or conducting research studies with team support.
• Solid UX skills across interaction design, IA, usability and visual design.
• Developing systems thinking to understand design decisions and patterns.
• Comfort with AI tools and applying them to design workflows.
• Willingness to learn quickly and share ideas as the most junior member.

Responsibilities

• Own UI and interaction execution for in-flight DMS projects with senior designers.
• Collaborate with the DMS design team and share ownership of active work streams.
• Respond to customer feedback post-V1 and help roadmap DMS for larger firms.
• Explore AI capabilities integration with document workflows across the platform.
• Develop systems thinking, connecting DMS decisions to broader product patterns.
• Support research initiatives and grow toward running studies independently.
• Maintain high-quality UI craft for every project.
