Job summary

Scrawlr seeks a Product/UX Designer in Canada to help shape a transformational product. You will design architectures, flows, interfaces, and interactive prototypes, while contributing to detailed designs and a reusable Figma library.

You will collaborate with developers on planning, conduct usability testing, and translate customer insights into actionable design decisions within a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of professional experience as a Product or UX/UI Designer.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing the breadth of your experience and design thinking.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in web and mobile design.
  • Pride in creating and maintaining high design standards.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams in a fast-growing environment.

Scrawlr is building a platform to facilitate innovative forms of communication and interaction within a new digital context, with the goal of making a meaningful impact on an ever-evolving digital landscape. We have multiple products that have soft launched in beta, and are looking to bring on exceptional individuals as we progress towards an initial public release. Compensation

$165k - 83k per annum plus an options grant commensurate with capacity for contribution to the team

Desired Skills or Experience

  • A deep understanding of best practices in web and mobile design.
  • Pride in creating and maintaining excellent design standards.
  • A strong proficiency with design and prototyping applications (We use Figma).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
