Job description

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is North America’s leading provider of integrated entertainment, sports content, and casino gaming experiences. From casinos and racetracks to online gaming, sports betting, and entertainment content, we deliver the experiences people want, how and where they want them.

We’re always on the lookout for passionate individuals who excel at creating and delivering cutting-edge online gaming and sports media products. Whether through ESPN BET, Hollywood Casino, theScore Bet Sportsbook & Casino, or theScore media app, we aim to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Our state-of-the-art platforms are powered by proprietary in-house technology, a key part of PENN’s omnichannel gaming and entertainment strategy.

Join PENN Entertainment’s digital team to work on these innovative platforms and be part of a company that cares about your career growth. We support your skills expansion and new opportunities wherever you are across North America. If you’re ready to challenge conventions in gaming, media, and entertainment, we want to hear from you.

About the Role & Team

We are seeking a Product Designer for ESPN Bet, theScore, and iCasino, to work with our Customer Activation Platform team. This team manages our organic and performance marketing, as well as promotional and loyalty programs—driving acquisition, retention, and engagement through targeted campaigns, compelling offers, and channel optimization. If you’re passionate about working in the sports media and gaming space, we want to collaborate with you! We’re looking for smart, humble, and deep-thinking product designers eager to make an impact.

About the Work
  • Collaborate with product designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to solve user problems from ideation to execution.
  • Utilize our double-diamond design process and frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Work primarily in Figma, so familiarity with the tool from design to prototyping is essential.
  • Contribute to evolving our design system and language across platforms.
  • Present and justify your design decisions regularly, effectively communicating your ideas.
  • Be receptive to feedback, iterate designs, and critique peer work constructively.
  • Participate in user research and usability testing, leveraging tools like Amplitude for quantitative insights.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve team and organizational processes.
  • Create aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that delight users and add value.
  • Perform other duties as required.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Framer, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
  • Portfolio with mobile case studies demonstrating your design process from research to execution.
  • Understanding of iOS/Android design patterns and conventions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about business strategies.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with promotional and loyalty programs is a plus.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Relaxed, fun work environment.
  • Education and conference reimbursement.
