Job description
What you’ll do
  • Validate incoming product data daily, resolve operational issues, and maintain product data tables to meet quality standards and SLAs.
  • Track data quality metrics, identify recurring issues, and support process improvements to enhance data reliability.
  • Act as a key contact for Local Co-ops, providing guidance, training, and support on product data standards and system processes.
  • Apply and maintain governance frameworks, document business rules, and contribute to audits and compliance efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, support system enhancements, and promote data ownership across teams.
Who you’ll work with

The Team: You will work closely with Technical Specialists, Analysts, and Administrators and report into the Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement. This team strives to cultivate a culture of accuracy, collaboration, transparency, and empowerment.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with Local Coop employees, Item management teams, Data entry teams, Business Subject Matter Experts, and Business Unit teams.

Who you are

You are looking for a career in Data Analytics & Insights and :

  • Have 3-6 years of experience in data governance, product data management, product information management, and/or data stewardship activities. Experience with business glossaries, data definitions, and/or data catalogs is an asset. Experience working with POS, PIM, or MDM systems is an asset. Prior experience working with data standards, governance principles, or cataloging tools is beneficial.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Management, Business, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
