Role Overview
The Coordinator, Product is responsible for the setup, management, and maintenance of product information within the reservation system. This involves coordinating with various teams to ensure the accuracy and availability of products, services, and rates for stakeholders, supporting the smooth execution of product offerings, and ensuring consistent updates across systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Input and maintain product details in the reservation system, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Coordinate the setup of new products and services, including hotels, transfers, excursions, and other travel-related services.
- Assist the product team in managing and updating contracts, rates, and availability with suppliers.
- Analyze and input promotional offers, discounts, and rate reductions into the system.
- Support internal teams with product-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and track product performance and availability to ensure correct display and booking capability.
- Handle setup of product-specific conditions, such as cancellation policies and special requirements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product reports for business analysis.
- Work closely with suppliers to meet company standards and contractual agreements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure operational workflows are smooth and issues are resolved.
- Ensure data integrity in the reservation system and manage updates based on supplier instructions.
- Support testing and quality assurance of new product offerings or system updates.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market developments, and competitor products.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with teams to align product offerings with business objectives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Product Manager.
What You Bring To The Team
- College diploma in Tourism, Aviation, or related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- French fluency preferred.
- Spanish is an asset.
