Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Compliance - Data Acquisition Manager to lead sourcing, organization, and distribution of compliance data for our B2B SaaS platform. This role will ensure our centralized compliance data meets high standards of accuracy, relevance, and value for our customers. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to build meaningful partnerships with manufacturers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Sourcing & Partnership Development
    • Identify, engage, and establish relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and other data providers to source high-value compliance data.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and prioritize customer data needs, especially for manufacturers.
  2. Data Management & Organization
    • Oversee collection, classification, and organization of compliance data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
    • Implement tools and processes for data validation, quality assurance, and issue detection.
  3. Customer Insights & Value Generation
    • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify valuable data points and gaps.
    • Develop strategies to enhance user experience and engagement through data insights.
  4. Process Optimization & Innovation
    • Design and streamline workflows for data collection, management, and distribution.
    • Leverage automation and advanced analytics to improve efficiency and scalability.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Product Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align data strategies with product and business goals.
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on data usage and value proposition.
  6. Monitoring & Reporting
    • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of compliance data on customer satisfaction and business growth.
    • Regularly report progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.

Qualifications

We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience.

  • This role is best suited for candidates with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience with data management is highly valuable.

An absolute non-negotiable requirement is a thorough understanding of key regulations and standards, including but not limited to:

  • REACH, RoHS, SVHC, Materials Compliance, and Product Compliance regulations
  • Conflict Minerals
  • Substances of High Concern (SHC)
  • IEC 63000 and IEC 62474 standards
  • Full Material Disclosure (FMD)
  • IPC 1652A standard
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) management
  • Complex and Durable Goods Manufacturing compliance
  • Supply Chain and regulatory requirements impacting product compliance
