We are currently seeking a Product Analyst to join our Product Development and Management team. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to conduct research and analysis to accurately define and assist in development of new products and the management & enhancements of existing products in the areas of design, pricing, investment strategy, operations and client experience.

Our team takes great pride in developing and marketing leading investment solutions and platforms for all the retail segments of the Canadian market.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create detailed business specifications and Term Sheets to support development of new products or enhancement of existing ones
  • Support the sales and client service teams acting as a subject matter expert on CI GAM products
  • Research market trends across CI’s distribution channels
  • Assist Product Development & Management team throughout product development life cycle
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvements in sales execution
  • Conducting market research on industry and competitor trends
  • Create detailed internal communications to support various product initiatives
  • Review and amend disclosure (legal) / marketing documents associated with assigned products under the guidance of the VP, Product Development and Management
  • Manage and update internal data collaboration platforms supporting the launch and enhancements of CI GAM products

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Post-secondary degree / education (a major in finance / accounting is preferred)
  • Canadian Securities Course and / or IFIC Mutual Funds Course and / or other related industry education
  • Experience in an investment or product environment is an asset
  • Strong technology skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Morningstar Direct strong research and analytical skills
  • Works well under pressure, prioritizes effectively and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and third-party reporting tools such as (Morningstar Direct)
