About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Analyst to join our fast-growing Insurtech team and support the development and evolution of our products. Our aim is to continuously enhance our products to enable seamless and frictionless interactions for our clients.

In this role, you will serve as the critical link between business needs and technology solutions, translating product vision into clear and actionable requirements. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to ensure product features are well-defined, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on business objectives and customer needs.
• Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, data flows, and system interactions to support continuous product improvement.
• Translate requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Client Delivery and Operations Support to ensure successful delivery of product features and enhancements.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and future-state systems and processes, proposing viable technical and / or operational solutions.
• Assist in the prioritization of backlog items, contributing to sprint planning and release readiness activities.
• Participate in internal acceptance testing by helping develop test cases, validating outcomes, and ensuring product quality.
• Monitor post-deployment performance to assist with production incident triage and gather user feedback to inform future product iterations.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in business analysis and product development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

3–5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or related role in a product-driven environment.

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile product teams.

Ability to translate complex business problems into clear, structured documentation and user stories.

Experience with requirements gathering , process modeling , and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or similar.

Strong analytical mindset with experience in data mapping, lineage tracking , and data quality validation.

Proficiency in writing SQL for data extraction and validation.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and align diverse teams.

Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in SaaS, data-intensive products, or within the P&C Insurance industry is a strong asset.

Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda is an asset.
