Job summary

Bell Canada seeks an experienced television producer to lead The Social’s digital team and coordinate daily broadcast planning in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong event/news knowledge and ability to drive cross-media content with producers and on-site staff.

The candidate will manage field production, book talent, and stay abreast of lifestyle, entertainment, and current events trends to deliver engaging Canada-wide and international content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a television producer.
• Post secondary degree in television production or journalism.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Strong knowledge and passion of news/current events, lifestyle, entertainment and music.
• Management experience would be an asset.
• Ability to work well in a team and motivate staff.
• Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Critical Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a television producer

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines of several simultaneous duties, while maintaining focus and composure in a fast paced environment
• Strong knowledge and passion of news/current events, lifestyle, pop culture, social issues, entertainment and music
• Management experience would be an asset
• Ability to work well in a team and motivate staff

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
