Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead a welcoming shopping experience with strong customer service and team engagement. You’ll supervise floor operations, delegate tasks, stock displays, and coach staff to uphold Farm Boy Service Standards.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced store environment. We value clear communication, pride in high-quality results, and a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• Partial completion of a post-secondary program plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently while taking pride in high-quality results, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in team engagement, coaching, and training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
• Provide floor supervision and team support by delegating tasks, coordinating meal breaks, receiving and storing orders, completing 2x2s, and ensuring daily readiness for business.
• Package, stock, and rotate display counters and shelves to maintain high product quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Foster a culture of trust and inclusion by providing hands-on training and coaching focused on floor operations, department standards, and service excellence.
• Promote company policies and clearly communicate department updates and business objectives as shared by the store leadership team.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands‑on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
