Job summary

Walmart Canada in Quesnel, BC is seeking a Produce Stocker to maintain a fresh, organized produce area and deliver friendly, helpful service to customers in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will rotate stock for quality, ensure accurate pricing and signage, follow food safety standards, and assist with displays while supporting health and safety guidelines. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is important.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready - Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned for customers at all times.
• Check Product Quality and Freshness - Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing - Ensure all produce is correctly priced and signed according to procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards - Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks and proper food handling.
• Stock Merchandise and Set Displays - Stock and downstock merchandise, and set modular displays and shelf caps to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follow Health and Safety Guidelines - Adhere to all Health and Safety policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
