Job summary

Walmart Canada in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Produce Stocker to maintain the produce area, assist customers, and ensure accurate pricing and rotation of stock. This role focuses on in‑store service, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

You will follow food safety guidelines, participate in temperature checks, and help keep shelves stocked and properly labeled to support smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience for customers.

• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Ensures that department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
• Stocks merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable . Apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and set new shelf cap.
