Job summary

Walmart Canada in Cowansville, QC is seeking a Produce Stocker to support the produce department and provide exemplary customer service. You will zone the area, stock and rotate products, and ensure proper signage, pricing, and compliance with cold chain and food safety standards.

The role involves assisting with ordering, markdowns, labeling, and keeping the department fully stocked and ready for customers while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Zones the department.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Ensures that department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
• Stocks merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable . Apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and set new shelf cap.
