Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a warehouse/production worker for Milton, tasked with preparing fresh vegetables on a 5-day schedule. Shift runs from 12:00 PM until completion, Sundays are mandatory, and the role pays $17.95 per hour. Training is provided, and safety protocols are strictly observed.

The job involves standing for long periods in a cool environment, with on-the-job instruction for slicing, sorting, packing, and labeling tasks. Transportation to the Milton facility is required.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
• Capable of performing light, repetitive hand tasks (slicing, sorting, packing) while standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to the Milton facility for scheduled shift start times.
• Willingness to work in a chilled warehouse environment (5°C–10°C).

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, trim, chop, and cut fresh vegetables to specification.
• Portion, package, and label prepared produce.
• Inspect produce along the processing line for quality and freshness.
• Place packaged items into crates or pallets for shipping and distribution.
• Maintain a sanitary work area by cleaning prep stations, tools, and surfaces.
• Follow food handling, health, safety, and GMP guidelines.
