Sorting and Inspecting Produce

Examine fruits and vegetables for quality, ensuring they meet store standards. Discard damaged or spoiled items and sort produce by size, type, and ripeness.

Packing Produce

Carefully pack produce into containers or packaging, ensuring it is handled with care to avoid bruising or damage. Follow weight and size guidelines for packaging.

Labeling Products

Attach labels to packaged produce with accurate pricing, expiration dates, and product information. Ensure proper placement of labels for easy identification.

Rotating Stock

Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) method by rotating older stock to the front and placing fresher produce at the back to minimize waste.

Maintaining Cleanliness

Keep the packing area clean and sanitary by regularly cleaning work surfaces, removing trash, and organizing supplies.

Monitoring Inventory

Track inventory levels and report low stock to supervisors to ensure timely reordering of products.

Weighing and Packaging

Handling Produce Safely
