Choices Market in Vancouver's Kitsilano location is hiring a Produce Lead Hand to take on a more responsible role in our busy produce department.

You will direct workflow, manage ordering and merchandising, assist customers with a positive attitude, and ensure freshness by washing and trimming produce. The role is full-time, in-person, with starting wage of 19.75/hour and benefits including dental, extended health care, paid time off, store discount and vision care.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a retail setting.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Previous work in a produce department.
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Comfort with Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct workflow and supervise the department.
• Order, receive and merchandise produce.
• Serve customers promptly with a positive attitude.
• Wash, trim and Cull produce.
• Keep shelves stocked and rotate items for freshness.
• Operate till when needed.
• Follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
