Job summary

FreshCo (associates in Calgary) seeks a Produce Clerk to help customers find fresh produce and keep a well-stocked department. Full training is provided and you will support daily store operations including stocking, merchandising, and POS relief during peak hours.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, accuracy in displays, and adherence to safety procedures. Evening and weekend availability is encouraged in this entry-level position.

• Stocking produce and related product to shelves such as (Frozen, perishable and non-perishables)
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Safeway programs
• Rotation of product
• Loading and unloading of product for the sales floor
• Backroom and inventory management
• Operating a cash register as needed for relief during peak business hours
• Any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Maintaining a well-stocked department so that the customer shopping experience is quick, easy and efficient is the key to building loyalty. That is why our Produce Clerks play such an important role in the success of our stores. Full training is provided for this position.
