Job Summary

The Produce Clerk is responsible for executing duties professionally, accurately, and promptly. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, fostering loyalty, fulfilling customer needs, and promoting a positive environment for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, Health and Safety policies, and company initiatives.
  2. Order, receive, prepare, and merchandise produce in line with inventory control procedures.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to meet customer needs.
  4. Promote featured products to increase store sales.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the back shop and retail floor.
  6. Prepare customer produce orders as needed.
  7. Manage department shrinkage.
  8. Train and mentor junior staff members.
  9. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  3. Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
