Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in Canada is seeking a Production Technician II to contribute to small-scale production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates in a cGMP environment. The role involves supporting pilot plant, kilo lab and small-scale operations with adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.

You will assist with batch making under supervision, document production data, and aid in equipment setup, cleaning, and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with cGMP and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow SOPs and batch records.
• Willingness to operate equipment and perform cleaning.
• Team player with good documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading vessels and transferring liquids/solids as required.
• Monitor process parameters and complete production documentation (batch sheets, log books).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area to comply with cGMP.

Activities include: § Loading/unloading vessels § Transferring liquids and solids between vessels as required § Charging liquids and solids to a vessel § Monitor parameters § Complete production related documentation (e.g. batch sheet, log books) · Dismantle, clean, assemble and set-up production equipment and complete cleaning logs as instructed by a senior level Technician · Sample materials and products by reviewing and preparing documentation, preparing the sampling and protective equipment, obtaining the sample and submitting to Quality and Compliance function under the direction of a senior level Technicians · Maintain cleanliness and order of work area to ensure cGMP and safety compliance · Package, apply labels and lot numbers to identify batches under the guidance of a senior level Technician · Actively train on SOP’s, Technical Manuals and safety procedures as required · Participate in opportunities to develop industry relevant production knowledge · Practice compliance with cGMP and safe operations (e.g. wearing Personal Protective Equipment including self contained breathing apparatus and cartridge respirators · Perform other duties as assignedCanada Salary Range :CAD24.00 - CAD26.00/Per Hour
