Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in Canada is seeking a PROD TECH II to support batch making under supervision, load and unload vessels, and transfer liquids and solids between vessels. You will monitor process parameters, document batches, and help maintain a clean, compliant production area in a cGMP environment.

Additional duties include equipment setup, sampling, labeling, safety procedures, and ongoing SOP training.

Responsibilities

• Perform batch making process under the direction of a senior level Production Technicians and according to Standard Operating procedures (SOP's).
• Loading/unloading vessels
• Transferring liquids and solids between vessels as required
• Charging liquids and solids to a vessel
• Monitor parameters
• Complete production related documentation (e.g. batch sheet, log books)
• Dismantle, clean, assemble and set-up production equipment and complete cleaning logs as instructed by a senior level Technician
• Sample materials and products by reviewing and preparing documentation, preparing the sampling and protective equipment, obtaining the sample and submitting to Quality and Compliance function under the direction of a senior level Technicians
• Maintain cleanliness and order of work area to ensure cGMP and safety compliance
• Package, apply labels and lot numbers to identify batches under the guidance of a senior level Technician
• Actively train on SOP's, Technical Manuals and safety procedures as required
• Participate in opportunities to develop industry relevant production knowledge
• Practice compliance with cGMP and safe operations (e.g. wearing Personal Protective Equipment including self contained breathing apparatus and cartridge respirators)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Canada Salary Range :CAD24.00 - CAD26.00/Per Hour
