Position: Procurement Specialist – Industrial Chemicals (G3)

Status: Full-time, permanent

Quadra Chemicals seeks a Procurement Specialist for our Industrial Chemicals Group. You will manage replenishment orders, maintain supplier relationships, and optimize inventory to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes including purchase orders, delivery tracking, and inventory management
  • Implement measures to reduce aging inventory
  • Communicate effectively with commercial teams and Product Managers
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues
  • Reconcile supplier invoices accurately
  • Build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance
  • Stay informed on industry trends and procurement best practices
  • Review profit/loss reports and participate in cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business/Commerce or Supply Chain is an asset
  • At least 3 years in procurement, inventory, or supply chain roles
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce; experience with SAP or JD Edwards is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
