HSAGP (Hyundai-SK America Green Power) Energy LLC is a joint venture between Hyundai Motor Group and SK On to produce electric vehicle batteries. The company plans to invest $5 billion in a new EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia, with operations starting in the first half of 2026 and an annual capacity of 35 GWh, supporting approximately 300,000 EVs annually. The plant's location near Hyundai's existing and planned U.S. facilities strategically positions it within the automotive supply chain. Hyundai has also initiated the Hyundai Motor Group Meta plant in Georgia for future EV production.

Summary of this Job:

Workforce Management:

  • Lead regular meetings with staff and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives, cost savings, and deliverables are on track.
  • Report regularly on work attendance, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies.

Performance Management:

  • Provide weekly reports on procurement and logistics activities/results.
  • Assign and oversee work based on procurement and logistics plans.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate activities with other managers and global teams.
  • Participate in revising or establishing procurement strategies as needed.

Operation Management:

  • Stay informed on industry trends and supply chain updates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Procure MRO items and expedited materials at the best prices, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Support global procurement efforts for MRO categories.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier management.
  • Update and manage material and supplier information accurately.
  • Resolve discrepancies in invoicing and materials promptly.
  • Coordinate with customs, freight brokers, and vendors to ensure timely shipments.
  • Maintain and update material master data and supplier information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prevent delays and errors.
  • Prepare for audits and certifications related to procurement processes.
  • Understand and support organizational goals through procurement activities.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager or APICS certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Extensive procurement experience in related industries.
  • At least 3 years of experience with MRP-ERP systems.
  • Experience in automotive or chemical manufacturing industries preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP MM Module.
  • Good command of English (verbal and written).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems and implementation experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and accuracy.
