Huawei Canada is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement processes, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in Services Procurement, demonstrating strong business acumen and project management skills.

The Quality & Operation Department supports Huawei Canada's operations across Procurement, Finance, IT services, and more. This department is committed to solving complex problems efficiently and providing world-class service, emphasizing quality and operational excellence.
About the Job:
Collect and understand business/project needs, draft potential SOWs and RFI/RFPs in collaboration with the business.
Follow procurement processes based on business needs and policies, suggest strategies, and source from vendors.
Negotiate with vendors, prepare procurement agreements, and complete procurement procedures.
Manage Purchase Order fulfillment, ensuring correct order processing and delivery.
Assist the procurement manager with demand collection, market analysis, sourcing, and supplier management.
Coordinate communication with management and clients for reporting and planning, including supplier management.
Analyze market trends, client needs, and R&D information to identify potential suppliers and validate procurement strategies.
Develop procurement benchmarks and strategies for various categories.
Evaluate vendors and project deliverables, identifying areas for future improvement.
Manage contracts and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
About the ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Services Procurement or similar roles.
Experience in procurement or project management within Construction Services, Architectural & Engineering Services, or Facilities Management.
Strong business acumen and knowledge of procurement processes.
Self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong work ethics.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Ability to prioritize and implement effective administrative processes.
Flexible, optimistic, team-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
Proven project management skills from initiation to completion.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant PC programs.
