Job Description

  1. Monthly Reconciliation and Consolidation of PERFO & SUPPLIER of all Suppliers
  2. Supplier Visits - unplanned - crisis management, Quality and Delivery (includes travel time)
  3. NCR and Concessions Management, expediting concessions and returning non-conforming product, quarantine management
  4. Supplier Schedule, review prior to sending weekly, obtain commitments, conference calls if required, and update SAP with delivery commitments
  5. Purchase Order Management – issue purchase orders in line with stock targets
  6. Re-scheduling – management of exception messages to harmonize the supply and demand
  7. LOB and LRU delivery updates
  8. Sales Order management - demand changes, MPS
  9. Pilot the "Amber” level of the escalation process
  10. Shortage management – OE, CS measure the suppliers logistic performance, recovery plans
  11. Performance/Program Reviews
  12. Change Management Process - configuration changes, RFDC
  13. Un-receivables and receiving inspection support
  14. Material Master updates - lead-time, buyer code, safety time, batch sizes
  15. LEA activities, updated parts list
  16. COSA management
  17. Sale of Raw material
  18. Notice of Escape Management
  19. CS requests - for expedite and harmonization of supply and demand
  20. Quality Improvement plans - support SQA on improvement plans
  21. Planning - OVRMs implementation and management
  22. Change Management Process - configuration changes, RFDC
  23. Business Improvements - special projects, lean, improve ideas
  24. Industrialization Support
  25. Rate Readiness Assessments - Support SPL's during audits, average 1 per year
  26. SAP part management - lost parts, inventory adjustments, end user statements
  27. SAP contract management - pricing, updating PO's, part set-up
  28. Preparation for Customer PRA's
  29. Blocked Invoices - resolution of invoices

Job Requirements

Skills & Core Competencies:

Solid leadership skills; excellent oral, written and presentation skills; rigor and self-discipline; outstanding teamwork; interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to multi-task; work to tight timelines and project mode; sound understanding of SAP and manufacturing processes, along with the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications; comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; bilingual would be an asset.

Education &/or Certifications:

Relevant University Degree or College Diploma (e.g., Supply Chain Management or Operations Management) and/or PMAC certification.

Work Experience:

3-5 years of Supply Chain Management experience in Aerospace Manufacturing or High Tech Environment.

Specialized Knowledge:

SAP and Landing Gear/Aerospace manufacturing and special processing.

Communication Skills:

Internal: ability to work effectively with other functions consistent with company values.

External: Manage the Supplier relationship within the framework for the contract.
