Smith Cameron Process Solutions in Langley, BC seeks an organized procurement and inventory professional to support production, sales and service with essential equipment and supplies. You will manage NAFTA documents, purchase orders and vendor delivery performance, while negotiating terms and building supplier relationships.

You will optimize inventory controls, cycle counts, and KPI tracking in collaboration with finance and the sales team, aiming to cut costs and improve working capital.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of procurement or logistics experience.
• Experience in a distribution or manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge and experience using an ERP system is a strong asset.

Aufgaben

• Ensure production, sales, and service has all the equipment, material, and supplies they need.
• Generate and maintain up to date custom documents on all incoming and outgoing shipments including NAFTA documents.
• Prepare and track purchase orders to ensure vendors are meeting the expected delivery dates.
• Negotiate terms with supply chain and logistical providers.
• Build, and maintain, relationships with external logistics providers for local and US shipments/deliveries.
• Negotiate return of items to vendors and coordinate subsequent credits, refunds, or replacements.
• Create production orders and transfer them into stock.
• Establish and maintain controls for inventory part number creation and inventory database integrity.
• Manage inventory minimum and maximum levels, evaluate, and adjust as required.
• Maintain and manage inventory cycle count process.
• Manage inventory value adjustment for depreciating working with the finance team.
• Identify and manage opportunities for de-valued inventory items to be promoted for sale within the sales team.
