Job Description:

Serve as the Factory’s Raw Material Supply Coordinator to meet demand planning, service levels, efficiency, inventory analysis, and Continuous Improvement of statistically managed inventory classifications and stock limits. This critical role ensures Raw Material availability for a complex portfolio of diets, supporting daily production by the Operations Team.

What are we looking for?
  • College/University degree in APICS CPIM, Supply Chain Management, or Bachelor of Business Administration.
  • Extensive work experience with a minimum of 3 years in JIT production planning, operations planning, and inventory management may be considered.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders/stairs, work at heights/on platforms, and lift moderate weights (55 lbs).
  • Excellent written and oral communication, coaching, and training skills.
  • Availability to work approximately 90% in an office and 10% in a warehouse environment.
  • On-call availability after hours for crisis management.
  • Experience in the food/feed industry preferred.
  • Skills in communication, persuasion, cost management, team engagement, motivation, mechanical aptitude, and leadership.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Perform raw material planning within budget, following JIT, Pulled Production, security stock, and client service standards.
  • Supply local and overseas raw materials based on sales forecasts, inventory, supplier specifics, and production needs.
  • Ensure timely payments and contractual engagements with suppliers.
  • Maintain freight lanes for raw materials without supplier-driven routes.
  • Coordinate with Commercial, Quality, and Operations teams on raw material stock levels and disposition.
  • Manage inbound raw material schedules, react to issues to protect fill rate.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement to optimize service levels, inventory costs, and efficiencies using analytics.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy of raw ingredients, silos, racks, and 3PL warehouses.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure high TRS levels through effective planning.
  • Prepare and manage documentation such as Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Freight POs.
  • Record data into Navision or other software per traceability requirements.
  • Manage relationships with Finance regarding inventory codes and costs.
  • Manage freight for raw materials from 3PL storage.
  • Quality & Food Safety: Ensure compliance with ISO standards, Mars Standards, GMP-GHP, and support HACCP programs. Report pest activity and manage quality issues in collaboration with NA Purchasing.
  • Perform additional tasks as delegated by the Manager.
