Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Procurement professional in Lloydminster, Alberta, to plan and manage inbound logistics, monitor inventory, and coordinate with vendors to optimize costs and lead times.

The role emphasizes accuracy in landed costing, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with customer service and administrative teams. The successful candidate will contribute to process improvements and cost savings while supporting carrier coordination for shipments.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience with purchasing and procurement.
• 3 years’ experience with materials planning and analysis.
• Foundational understanding of costing with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule inbound logistics (inventory receipts).
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to anticipate material needs.
• Coordinate procurement with approved vendors and negotiate lead times.
• Track KPI metrics related to procurement and vendor performance.
• Ensure proper utilization of purchase orders and accurate landed costing.
• Contact carrier representatives to plan, document, and oversee shipping and delivery.

• Planning and scheduling of all inbound logistics (Inventory Receipts).
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to anticipate material needs.
• Coordinate material procurement with approved vendors.
• Coordinate with Logistics team to establish best rates.
• Negotiating lead times with vendors.
• Track KPI metrics related to procurement and vendor performance.
• Participate in establishment of company policies and procedures (Re: Procurement).
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Support customer service and administrative departments.
• Responsible for proper utilization of purchase orders and accurate landed costing.
• Contact carrier representative to plan, issue documentation, instructions for shipping, and delivery of materials.
• Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc. quality, etc.
• Verify incoming materials against bills of lading, packing slips, etc.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office with a customer focus.
