Job summary

Woodfibre LNG is seeking a Procurement Specialist to drive end-to-end procurement and contracting for Pre-Construction, Regulatory, HSSE and Site Maintenance groups. You will liaise with indigenous engagement programs and the local supply community, reporting to the Procurement & Contracts Manager at the Woodfibre LNG site near Squamish, BC.

Qualifications

• +5 years in supply chain or procurement/Contracts systems.
• Knowledge of Canadian commercial terms and conditions.
• Undergraduate degree in procurement/supply chain desirable.
• Oil and gas project exposure is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and contracting activities to support business needs.
• Analyze supplier qualifications and maintain approved supplier records.
• Develop and lead formal RFPs for long-term commitments and purchases.
• Monitor status of procurement and contract completion for the team.
• Provide supplier performance management and KPI coordination.
• Engage external stakeholders for procurement planning and activities.
