A global NGO focused on conflict resolution is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Assistant to support their international programmes. The successful candidate will manage procurement requests, issue quotations, and support logistics operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. Salary is competitive at approximately £28,500 annually, with additional benefits including annual leave and pension contributions.

About the role:
The Procurement and Logistics Assistant will be a member of the HQ-based Global Procurement and Logistics team that provides support and guidance to HALO’s overseas programmes. They will be responsible for working with the Procurement and Logistics team in line with HALO’s procurement policy and procedures. This role will support the team daily as directed and will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing departmental files and supporting global requirements. This role also presents an opportunity for the individual to receive training in all areas of the Procurement, Logistics and warehousing function, enabling potential future development within HALO.
They will form part of a small HQ-based team and will be expected to work autonomously at times. There may be a requirement to visit programmes on an irregular basis as part of the role. The Head of the Department will determine this in consultation with the programmes.
