Job description

Seeking a Procurement Analyst (Student) for an 8-month term. This position is based in either Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, starting in the fall 2025 semester (September to May 2026).

The Opportunity

Do you enjoy analyzing data, preparing reports, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes? In this role, you will report to the Procurement Specialist and be a key part of the Operations team.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will help Invest Alberta Corporation (IAC) and be responsible for:

  • Preparing and maintaining procurement reports including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.
  • Assisting in developing performance indicators to monitor procurement activities.
  • Supporting supplier evaluation and selection processes.
  • Maintaining and updating the supplier database.
  • Assisting in the preparation and issuance of RFXs.
  • Ensuring compliance with IAC’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining organized procurement records and documentation.
  • Assisting in internal audits and reviews of procurement activities.
  • Collaborating with departments such as finance.
  • Participating in ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

Proof of enrollment at a post-secondary institution is required to qualify for this work term.
