Procore Business Process Specialist, Building Construction

Description

Are you ready to bring your construction expertise to the forefront and make a significant impact? As a Business Process Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, solving problems, training, and supporting project teams, with a special focus on Procore, our new Project Management Information System (PMIS). Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our construction projects by enhancing field administration and document control through Procore. You'll be a go-to expert for Procore configurations, creating user guides, training materials, and updating our operations manual. Collaborate with the Operational Support Team (OST) and be a key player in driving innovation and efficiency in our construction processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with OST and Operations SMEs to develop and implement Phase 2 requirements for Procore.
  • Manage the Procore database, including user maintenance, permissions, company management, custom fields, and project templates.
  • Facilitate Procore training sessions, including curriculum development.
  • Develop comprehensive Procore-specific documentation, including user guides, training materials, and operations manual updates.
  • Support project teams by troubleshooting issues with Procore and JDE to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of construction field experience.
  • Experience with Procore is required.
  • Be support-minded with an enterprise view.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards, Textura, SharePoint and other MS business products.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, propose innovative solutions, and ensure they align with organizational objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, confident in interacting with Operations, Technology and OST team members in verbal, written, and electronic forms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, seeking support when needed.

Work Conditions:

  • This position is open to Canadian applicants only. Applications from outside Canada will not be considered at this time.
  • Applicants must reside local to our major office locations; Kelowna, Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, or Regina.
  • This will be a hybrid position with a mix of remote and in-office work.
