Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is seeking a dedicated team member for our St. Albert location. This full-time, hourly role involves sorting donations, assisting at the checkout, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The candidate should be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and maintain physical stamina for daily tasks. The position supports our mission to help Albertans through meaningful employment and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and grades donations to determine sellable items.
• Identify high-end/designer items for special pricing.
• Track production targets and complete production sheets per SOPs.
• Transport items to/from sales floor and place on shelves/bins/racks.
• Tidy shelves, racks, bins or displays and rotate stock as needed.
• Assist Retail team at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise.
• Provide world class customer service to Goodwill customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable.

What you bring to the table

• A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 15 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• The ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques. (A strong asset but not a deal-breaker)
• You deliver amazing customer service by going above and beyond for all Goodwill customers.
• You demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwill’s mission & core purpose.
• You have an open and honest attitude while making moral decisions.
