Descriptif mission

The Process Technician will support the programming, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment. Additionally, the Process Technician will set up and improve processes and methods to enhance quality, productivity, and cost efficiency in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Program all manufacturing equipment (excluding product-specific Test Department equipment), including SMT line equipment (Pick and Place, SPI, AOI, reflow oven), conformal coat robot, and selective soldering equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to prevent downtime and impact on production.
  • Support manufacturing personnel and coordinate internal and external preventive maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and present equipment maintenance reports and recommendations.
  • Develop and document work instructions for NPI products, legacy products, and future equipment.
  • Participate in the selection, installation, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment and support the development of procedures for Special Processes.
  • Support prototype and pre-production sample production according to cost and schedule.
  • Suggest process improvements, update or create work instructions, and develop jigs/fixtures.
  • Establish efficient manufacturing methods and support calibration of equipment.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on processes and equipment usage.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years college diploma in Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing equipment and procedures.
  • Interest in hobby projects is a plus.
  • Team player with initiative, pride in work, analytical problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to work independently and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and HSE procedures.
  • 3D CAD and 3D printing experience is a plus.
