Responsibilities include operating simple processes, recording data, and assisting with equipment runs, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and effective communication with supervisors and team members.

Formación

• High school diploma with above-average mathematical skills; Diploma or Certificate in a related field is an asset.
• Knowledge of plant safety, fire prevention, and lockout systems; safety conscious.
• Knowledge of GMP, WHMIS, and HACCP.
• Team player who works effectively with people and other groups, with a strong commitment to a team approach to problem solving.
• Has a positive work attitude, shows initiative, and is able to work independently.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure assigned process activities are carried out safely and effectively, within the guidelines of the SOPs and GMP/HACCP standards.
• Follow policies, safety standards, regulations, and protocol.
• Maintain knowledge of plant safety and fire prevention as part of each process.
• Run simple processes and follow process directives under supervision of senior operators.
• Assist with running complex equipment runs, cleaning of equipment and tanks, data collection and packaging of final products.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records; communicate with the process leader and shift supervisors.
• Maintain clean and safe plant area, including spill cleanup.
• Work well with others as a team and maintain positive relationships within department and company.
